Project Overview
Commissioned for a 14 minute stage performance at
A-KON, a Japanese cultural convention in Texas. The goal was a visualizer to accompany a dance group's performance on stage as the background.

With limited previous 3D knowledge, I picked up Blender to learn the basics and finished project delivery within one month.
Inspiration and Process
Each song's visuals pulled inspiration from the animations they originated from, and were recreated with an animation in mind.
A total of three songs, along with an intro, ending, and interims between, were each individually animated in Blender, then composed together in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Choreography in Mind
Composition and animation of 3D maps were created in consideration of both the choreography as well as the singing of each individual member.
Within both songs and interims, the audience can understand which character is being represented by the visuals and colors on screen.
Challenges and Skills Learned
As a first 3D project, more than just the basics were needed to be learned for efficiency in order to meet expected deadlines.
